14ª CRAFTY BLOGGERS SUNDAY DOODLE PARTY: LUNA

14th CRAFTY BLOGGERS SUNDAY DOODLE PARTY: MOON

After a short break, we return with the Sunday Doodle Party. The theme that Les Antònies have proposed for this edition is Moon.

We have made our interpretation, bringing us closer enough to see craters, that we've drawn with black marker making doodles, shading it with wax colours very diffused and swimming in the middle of a dark blue space, painted, too, with wax colours and dotted with their silver stars, as if they were the Christmas snow crystals, made with metallic marker, colour silver.

As always, in the following links, you will find the interpretation that our Crafty Bloggers artists have done, giving away their inspiration and good work.

For the 15th Edition, the proposed theme is: THE SUN.

AN INSPIRING JOURNEY THROUGH THE CRAFTY WORLD!!!

CHRISTMAS PATCHWORK: BALL MADE OF SCRAPS.

This week's post of Les Antònies will take advantage of scraps, as always, but this time Christmas fabrics and without sewing.

The material you need is: a ball of poliespan of the size that suits you, a cutter, a pencil, and of course all the scraps you have. We've done with Christmas fabrics, but can also be done with other subjects.

The only difficulty is at the beginning: you have to draw very well, on top of the ball, the partitions. We advise you to start very well marking the central outline, both vertically and horizontally. Starting from here, draw, more or less, does not come one millimetre, the design which you will do. Then just cut with the cutter, the drawn line, and go by snapping the scraps, distributing them as more like it.

It is a very nice ornament and, depending on the size, you can hang it on the Christmas tree, or add it to a table decoration.

THE FABRICS ARE THE SECRET OF THE MOST STYLISH CHRISTMAS!!!

I hem començat a decorar.

Y hemos empezado a decorar.

SCRAPBOOK TUTORIAL: CHRISTMAS CARD TRIPTYCH.

Sure most of you are very busy with the preparations for the festivities and thinking what to do: send a postcard by mail or do it via phone or email?

The Antònies chose the two things; and the postcards we send by mail are handmade.

In this post we explain how we made this postcard triptych. It’s very simple: the measures are 50cmX14cm. We have folded in three parts of 16,6cm each. And we have started to decorate. For the trees and the decorations of the other two sides, we have used our own design of scrapbook and pens in black, metallic blue and gold to make drawings and borders.

The envelope we have done as we explained in a previous post and, also, we have decorated with the same material that the postcard to make coordinated. The measures of the square of paper to make it are 26cmX26cm.

It is an ideal postcard if you need to make a gift and you are a lot of people to sign and write dedications and, moreover, does not occupy a lot of space. As always, we hope that you like the idea, and serve you as a source of inspiration.

IN THREE PARTS THERE IS MORE SPACE TO CONGRATULATE!!!

HOOP FRAMES AND STARS TO NOVEMBER PINTEREST CHALLENGE.

We arrived at the end of the month and we are at the PinterestChallenge’s Scarlata y el Señor Don Gato blog. This time the proposal has been to use hoop frames to present our work.

Les Antònies have a weakness for patchwork and, although we are learners, we have decided to present you a star applied using this discipline.

We have used the same technique that we use to make the heart-shaped pincushion. We have decided to make a star very characteristic of patchwork (we leave the pattern) and we have applied on a cotton fabric in ecru colour.

The result is colourful and classic at the same time. We hope you like our idea.

A MODERN TWIST TO A CLASSIC DESIGN!!!
